Dr. Justin W. McKinlay, DDS
General Dentist, Owner
Dr. McKinlay was born and raised in Idaho, where he met his wife and attended college at BYU Idaho. Those early days were filled with wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing in bands (he was the drummer), and getting an early start on family (before dental school he and his wife already had two kids). Dental school took them to Memphis, TN where they were blessed with two more kids and a wealth of experience in dentistry. When they were in Memphis his wife unfortunately knocked out her front tooth and, right away, Dr. McKinlay was introduced to the importance of doing good work. As his career has developed, he’s found particular interests in sedation and surgery. He loves being able to deliver the anxious patient in a difficult situation to the other side of their dental problems—all while in complete comfort. Urgent Tooth has been the perfect setting for him to lean into this interest.
Dr. Colby L. Rowberry, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Colby Rowberry grew up on a farm in the outskirts of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He attended BYU-Idaho where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. After graduating from BYU-Idaho, Dr. Rowberry, he spent two years in the concrete business and as a wildland firefighter before deciding to apply to dental school. During this time his desire to complete his education only intensified. One month before entering dental school, Dr. Rowberry’s family welcomed their twin boys into the family, completing their family of 4 little boys. In April of 2023, Dr. Rowberry earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, Utah. Upon graduating, Dr. Rowberry received the Brian D. Stone Memorial award for his work with the elderly and the medically fragile. Dr. Rowberry loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and kids. He enjoys snowboarding, fishing, riding bikes, and playing sports with his kids. After graduating, Dr. Rowberry moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and joined Urgent Tooth.
Rachel Weathers, MBA-HRM
Office Manager & Insurance Coordinator
Rachel joined Urgent Tooth in April of 2023 and brings with her 16 years of experience in the dental industry; 14 years in practice management. She holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Certification in Microsoft Office. Leadership is her true passion which inspired her to start her own dental consulting business in 2020. Rachel exhibits exceptional skills in dental insurance billing and claims recovery and serves as the main point of contact for established and prospective patients. She serves both as a board member and secretary for a non-profit organization called Healing the Roots Foundation where they provide services to minority children who have experienced domestic violence, abuse, and trauma. On downtime, you can find her snuggled under her favorite blanket with her favorite snack binge watching her favorite shows. A true homebody at heart. Rachel has been a valuable asset to our practice.
Kayla Davenport
Treatment & Schedule Coordinator
Kayla has worked in the field of dentistry for over 5 years but joined Urgent Tooth in February of 2022. She is one of our smiling faces at the front desk who schedules patients and coordinates with insurance. Her professionalism, along with her dependable nature, combined with her knowledge and attention to detail when reviewing patient benefits, makes her a strong back up to management and a valued administrative assistant. A true jack of all trades, she takes the lead in ordering and maintaining inventory as well. Kayla hopes to continue expanding her knowledge and love of working in the dental field. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her amazing boyfriend and her adorable dogs. She also enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, and listening to a good podcast or binge-watching her favorite TV shows. Life is a beautiful journey, and she’s grateful to be living it with her boyfriend, furry companions, and the incredible friends who make every day an adventure.
Katlin Pegram
Surgical Dental Assistant
Katlin joined the Urgent Tooth family in September of 2022 and has grown to be one of our most valuable chair-side assistants. She obtained her dental assisting certification from Piedmont Dental Assistants Inc. in December of 2021. Katlin excels in treatment presentation and takes the lead in ensuring our processes and procedures meet specific quality standards and regulatory requirements. Her dedication to providing top notch patient care has led to increased patient satisfaction throughout the practice. Additionally, she strives to get to know each patient while adding her own personal touch to each patient encounter. Outside of the office, she is a devoted mom to her adorable son and enjoys traveling whenever possible.
Tori Bullins
Certified Dental Assistant, Surgical
Tori achieved her CDA certification in 2018 and a Certification in Nitrous Oxide and Phlebotomy in February of 2022. She previously worked alongside Dr. McKinlay at another local office before joining Urgent Tooth in 2022. In addition to being a phenomenal chair-side assistant, she takes the lead in our implant cases by making sure we are equipped with the parts and materials necessary to execute treatment. With a background in customer service, dentistry and esthetics, she strives to utilize her skills to further her professional and personal development. She truly feels expanding her knowledge in these areas are ideal for optimum patient care and comfort. Being a licensed esthetician, she owns her own business where she specializes in facials, massages, waxing and more. Additionally, she enjoys traveling, eating out, and working out. She is also a proud dog mom to her babies, Loki and Emma.
Alexis Smith
Surgical Dental Assistant
Alexis is one of our talented chair-side assistants who joined our team in September of 2024. Before completing a dental assisting program in 2024, she worked as a Veterinary Technician at a local Animal Hospital. Along with her Dental Assistant Certificate, she carries a certification in Nitrous Oxide and Dental Radiology. Although a recent graduate, she has proven to be proficient in her knowledge of dental anatomy, surgical procedures, and infection control protocols. Her gentle nature and soft words make her the perfect assistant for patients suffering from anxiety. Alexis prides herself in maintaining quality of care while monitoring patients comfort levels during surgical procedures. She enjoys finding the root cause of pain or discomfort while working alongside the dentist in finding permanent solutions. During her free time, you will find her at a local park, walking her dogs or going for a jog. In her opinion, staying fit and having her furry companions close by is the key to happiness.
Mackenzie Fuller
Triage Dental Assistant
Mackenzie joined our team in June of 2023 as a Surgical Dental Assistant. Being a recent graduate from EduDental, the School of Dental Assisting, she brings with her an enormous amount of enthusiasm and willingness to learn. She also carries a certification in Nitrous Oxide and CPR. On a typical day you will find her greeting and seating patients, assessing their initial concerns, and preparing the patient for surgery. Mackenzie has prior experience as a Certified Nurses Assistant and understands excellent care is what each patient deserves. Outside of the office, she enjoys hanging out with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Oreo and Izzy. She has a bright future ahead at Urgent Tooth.
Lucero Bringas
Finance & Scheduling Coordinator
Lucero is a friendly and dedicated dental office receptionist who recently joined the Urgent Tooth family. She plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. With over 4 years of experience in customer service and a passion for helping others, she is well-versed in managing patient appointments, answering questions, and coordinating office operations. Known for her warm personality and exceptional organizational skills, Lucero makes it a priority to create a comfortable and efficient environment for both patients and staff. She is skilled at managing schedules, handling insurance inquiries, and providing administrative support to the dental team. Outside of work, Lucero enjoys working out and believes in good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Lucero is always eager to make each visit to the dental office a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Tiara Agosto
Surgical Assistant & Community Outreach Contact
Tiara joined Urgent Tooth in March of 2023 and acts as a Surgical Assistant, Sterile Technician and the contact for our company’s Community Outreach program. She carries a certification in Nitrous Oxide and Dental Radiology, obtained in 2024. It would not be uncommon to see her singing and dancing throughout the day, spreading her cheerful and affectionate spirit. With 8 years of experience in the healthcare industry she is dedicated to ensuring that all surgical tools and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use, adhering to strict safety and regulatory guidelines. Tiara is driven by a belief in the power of community collaboration and the importance of creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. In addition to daily tasks, Tiara is involved in health fairs, meet & greets, and volunteer work; further deepening her impact and dedication to serving the public good. Outside of the office Tiara enjoys traveling and spending time with her beautiful daughter and devoted husband.
